Sponsor directory

Browse every company that has sponsored a hackathon we track, see what it sponsored, and reach the people behind it

The sponsor directory at /sponsors lists every company named as a sponsor on a hackathon HackathonRadar tracks across 40+ platforms. Use it to see who funds which events, size up a competitor's program, and find a person to pitch.

What a sponsor record holds

Each row in the directory is one sponsor. These are the columns you can show or hide with the Columns menu:

ColumnWhat it shows
LogoThe company logo, when we have one
NameThe company name
DomainThe company's web domain
WebsiteA Visit link to the company site
Sponsored CountHow many tracked hackathons list this company as a sponsor
Sponsored HackathonsThe events themselves, as badges

By default the table shows Logo, Name, Domain and Website. Turn on Sponsored Count and Sponsored Hackathons in Columns to see sponsorship history in the table. Your column choice is saved in your browser.

Click a row to open the sponsor's details in a side panel. Each sponsor also has its own page at /sponsors/{id} with the same layout. That page is public: anyone can see the name, logo, domain and the list of sponsored hackathons. Each hackathon badge links to its event page. The contacts on it stay locked below Enterprise.

Sort and filter the directory

  • Contactable or All. The second breadcrumb menu switches between Contactable (the default) and All. Contactable shows only sponsors with at least one contact that has not opted out.
  • Sort by. The sort menu orders the list by any column, ascending or descending. The default is Sponsored Count, highest first.
  • Page size. The controls under the table page through results, 25 rows at a time by default and up to 100.
  • Switch directory. The first breadcrumb menu jumps between Hackathons, Sponsors, Organizers and Judging Opportunities.

To get the directory into a spreadsheet, use Export CSV. See Exports for what the file contains.

On Enterprise, the People section of a sponsor shows the contacts we hold for that company, where available. Each contact shows:

  • Name and role title, when known
  • Email address, as a mailto link
  • A confidence percentage: higher means more likely to reach someone relevant to sponsorship
  • A Source link to the page where the address is published, so you can check it yourself
  • A Seen date

Flags under a contact call out the cases to treat with care:

FlagMeaning
GenericA shared inbox such as info@ or hello@ rather than a named person
Low confidenceTreat the address as a lead to check
UnverifiedCheck the address before you rely on it
Opted outThe person has asked not to be contacted. The contact is grayed out and listed last

Contacts on event pages

On an event page that lists three sponsors or fewer, each sponsor card shows that sponsor's top contact for Enterprise viewers. See Hackathon pages.

Use the directory from an AI assistant

The MCP server has three sponsor tools: search_by_sponsor finds hackathons a company sponsors, get_competitor_sponsors lists the companies that sponsor the same hackathons as a given sponsor, and get_sponsor_contacts returns the contacts for a sponsor (Enterprise). A typical flow is to ask for a competitor's co-sponsors, then for the contacts at one of them. The MCP page lists the plan each tool needs.

Common questions

A sponsor has no contacts. Contacts are shown where available, and not every company has one. The People section then says "No contacts discovered yet."

The sponsored count looks low. The count covers hackathons on the platforms we cover that name the company as a sponsor. Events that do not list their sponsors are not counted.

I need this data in my own system. The API returns sponsors and their events, and webhooks push new and updated hackathons to you. Both are Enterprise.
