Hack Passport

Your free public hackathon profile, with every event you have hacked, judged, mentored or organized

Hack Passport is a free public profile of your hackathon history. Each event you add becomes an entry with your role, and HackathonRadar awards stamps for milestones, roles, topics, places and platforms as your history grows. Every plan includes it, Free too.

Your passport URL

Every passport lives at /passport/{username}, for example /passport/ada-lovelace. You choose the username when you create the passport. The Passport item in the sidebar takes you to your own passport, or to setup at /passport/onboarding if you do not have one yet. Share on your passport copies the link.

Passport pages are indexed by search engines and come with a link preview image, so the link looks right when you post it.

What shows on a passport

  • Header. Your avatar, display name, @username, location, bio, links to your website, GitHub and LinkedIn, and badges such as "Open to judging".
  • Activity graph. A calendar grid, one year at a time, with each event day colored by your role, and a one-line summary of your hackathons, cities, countries and wins.
  • Featured projects. Projects you chose to highlight, with project, demo and repo links.
  • Stamp collection. The stamps you have earned. View all shows the full catalog and how many you have collected.
  • Event map. Where your events took place, for entries linked to an event in the HackathonRadar database.
  • Timeline. Every public entry, newest first, with role, dates, location, result and a verification badge. Future events show as Upcoming.

Only your public entries appear. A private passport is not shown to anyone, and its URL returns "Passport not found".

Who it is for

Hack Passport records any role, not only competing. Hackers, judges, mentors, organizers, volunteers, speakers, sponsor reps and attendees can all build a record here. Judges can use it to show a judging history to organizers.
