Hack Passport
Stamps and verification
The Hack Passport stamps you can earn, how to earn each one, and what the verification badges on your entries mean
Stamps are collectible badges on your Hack Passport. HackathonRadar awards them automatically as you add entries, so you never claim one by hand. Each entry also carries a verification badge that shows how the event got onto your passport.
Earn stamps
A new stamp pops up as a "Stamp earned" notice when you save an entry. If you remove the entry that earned a stamp, the stamp goes too. View all in the stamp collection on any passport shows the full catalog, with the stamps you have not earned yet grayed out.

Verification badges
Each entry on your timeline shows one badge:
| Badge | What it means |
|---|---|
| Self-reported (dashed circle) | You added the event by hand. It is not linked to an event in the database. |
| Source matched (blue check) | The entry is linked to an event in the HackathonRadar database, as listed on the platform it is hosted on. You get it when you pick the event from search or use Add to Passport on its page. |
| Organizer verified (green shield) | The organizers credited you in the official results of a hackathon hosted on Radar. These entries also carry a Hosted on Radar badge. |
Entries verified by organizers
When the organizers of a hackathon hosted on Radar publish results, HackathonRadar adds an entry to the passport of everyone they credit. Members of judged teams get the Winner role (with their award and placement) or the Hacker role. People whose attendance was confirmed and who did not submit a project get the Attendee role.
- No passport yet? Your credit waits and appears when you create your passport. The event's results page shows a notice with Create your Passport.
- Already added the event yourself? Your entry becomes organizer verified rather than a duplicate.
- Results corrected? Your entry updates to match.
- You cannot edit or delete it. The event, role, team, project and result come from the organizers. You control whether it shows.
- To hide it, use the eye icon in /settings/passport, or Hide entry in the notice on the event's results page. A hidden entry shows a Hidden tag in settings and nobody else sees it. Show entry brings it back.
Organizer-verified entries follow your passport's visibility. If your passport is private, they are not shown publicly either.
