About this hackathon
SENSORA 2.0, organized by The Instrument Society of India (ISOI), is a high-intensity 36-hour hackathon where innovators, developers, and problem-solvers come together to transform bold ideas into functional solutions.
Designed as a platform for innovation, rapid prototyping, and real-world problem-solving, SENSORA 2.0 challenges participants to build under pressure, collaborate effectively, and develop technology-driven solutions with meaningful impact.
With a focus on Intelligent Hardware & IoT, Artificial Intelligence & Data-Driven Innovation, Healthcare Technologies, and Embedded Systems, participants will take their ideas from concept to prototype while receiving guidance from mentors, industry professionals, and domain experts.
Hackathon Format
Round 1 – Registration & Team Formation
18 September | 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM
Participants check in, finalize their teams, and complete the necessary setup before the hackathon begins.
Round 2 – Hackathon: Build Phase
18 September, 11:00 AM – 19 September, 6:00 AM
The core 19-hour build phase begins. Teams work continuously to develop their solutions from the ground up.
Participants will also have access to:
Expert Speaker Session: 2:00 PM – 3:00 PM
Mentor Interaction: 3:00 PM – 4:00 PM
Dedicated breaks for meals and refreshments
Guidance and check-ins from the organizing team throughout the build phase
Round 3 – Elimination Round
19 September | 9:30 AM – 1:30 PM
Judges evaluate the submitted projects based on key technical and innovation parameters. Teams must achieve a minimum of 70% project completion to qualify.
The Top 15 teams will advance to the final round.
Round 4 – Final Review
19 September | 2:30 PM – 6:00 PM
The shortlisted teams present their completed solutions before the judging panel. Projects are evaluated in depth on innovation, technical feasibility, problem–solution fit, scalability, market potential, and overall execution.
Round 5 – Results & Closing
19 September | 7:00 PM – 8:00 PM
The winners are announced, followed by the vote of thanks and participant dispersal.
