QUANTEXA is a national-level 24-hour innovation hackathon jointly presented by HackHere and LeSuccess.
Built around the theme “Think Quantum. Shape the Future.”, QUANTEXA brings together students, developers, designers, researchers, finance enthusiasts, and technology innovators to create impactful solutions in Quantum FinTech and Software for Social Welfare.
Hosted at SNS Innovation Hub, Coimbatore, the hackathon provides participants with an opportunity to address real-world challenges, develop functional prototypes, interact with industry professionals, and compete for cash prizes, internships, and pre-placement opportunities.
The event will also feature social-welfare and public-safety challenges based on problem statements provided by the Police Department, enabling participants to use technology to create meaningful solutions for society.

Hackathon Tracks
Track 1: Quantum FinTech
Participants must develop innovative financial technology solutions that combine quantum or quantum-inspired computing with modern software development.
Potential areas include:
Quantum-assisted financial modelling
Fraud and anomaly detection
Portfolio and investment optimization
Credit and risk assessment
Secure digital transactions
Quantum cryptography for financial systems
AI-powered banking and financial analytics
Financial inclusion and accessible banking solutions

Blockchain-based financial systems
Teams may use quantum simulators, quantum-inspired algorithms, artificial intelligence, blockchain, cybersecurity technologies, or conventional software frameworks to develop a practical working prototype.
Participants are not required to use physical quantum hardware unless specifically mentioned in the selected problem statement.
Track 2: Software for Social Welfare — Police Department
Participants must develop software-based solutions for real-world social-welfare and public-safety challenges identified by the Police Department.

Traffic monitoring and road safety

Solutions developed under this track should be practical, secure, scalable, citizen-friendly, and capable of creating measurable social impact.
Teams may use artificial intelligence, machine learning, cybersecurity, data analytics, cloud computing, blockchain, mobile applications, web technologies, or other suitable software tools.
Eligibility
Open to undergraduate and postgraduate students from recognized institutions.
Students from engineering, management, arts, science, commerce, law, medicine, and other disciplines may participate.
Participants may register individually or as a team of up to four members.
Inter-college teams are allowed.
Inter-department and inter-specialization teams are allowed.
Multidisciplinary teams are encouraged.
Each participant may be part of only one team.
All participants must carry a valid college or government-issued identity card.
Problem Statements
QUANTEXA will feature problem statements under two main tracks: Quantum FinTech and Software for Social Welfare.
The social-welfare problem statements will be based on real-world challenges provided by the Police Department.
The complete problem statements will be revealed at the beginning of the hackathon.
Each team must select one problem statement from either track.
Teams must develop a functional prototype addressing their selected challenge within 24 hours.
Teams cannot change their selected problem statement after the prescribed selection period without approval from the organizers.
Additional open-innovation challenges may be introduced by the organizers or industry partners.
Competition Format
QUANTEXA will be conducted as a continuous 24-hour offline hackathon consisting of three stages.
Round 1: Problem Selection and Ideation
Duration: First 2 hours
Official problem statements will be launched at the venue.
Teams must select one problem statement from either track.
Participants will analyze the challenge and prepare their proposed approach.
Teams may interact with mentors to validate their ideas.
A short idea summary may be required before development begins.
Round 2: Prototype Development and Progress Evaluation
Duration: Next 16 hours
Teams will develop their solution and working prototype.
Mentors will interact with teams during the development period.
Teams must attend the scheduled progress evaluation.
Judges may review the team’s approach, technical progress, originality, relevance, and feasibility.
Teams must demonstrate meaningful progress to remain eligible for the final evaluation.
Round 3: Final Submission and Jury Evaluation
Duration: Final 6 hours
Teams must complete and submit their prototype, presentation, source-code repository, and required documentation.
Shortlisted teams will present their solutions before the jury.
Each team will receive approximately 7 minutes for presentation and demonstration, followed by 3 minutes of questions from the jury.
Winners will be selected based on the published evaluation criteria.
Submission Requirements
Each team must submit:
A working prototype or minimum viable product
Presentation deck
Source-code repository
Short description of the problem and proposed solution
Technology stack used
Details of datasets, APIs, libraries, AI tools, quantum tools, and open-source resources used
Demo or deployment link, wherever applicable
Expected impact of the proposed solution
Future scope and scalability plan
Incomplete or late submissions may not be considered for the final evaluation.
Evaluation Criteria
Solutions will be evaluated based on:

Rules and Guidelines
All participants must carry a valid identity card.
Participants must bring their own laptops, chargers, extension boards, development devices, and other necessary accessories.
Each participant may register with only one team.
A team may consist of a maximum of four members.
Team-member changes after the registration deadline require approval from the organizers.
All registered team members must remain present during mandatory evaluations and the final presentation.
Teams must develop the core components of their solution during the official hackathon period.
Fully pre-built, previously submitted, or commercially available projects are strictly prohibited.
Existing libraries, frameworks, APIs, datasets, templates, quantum simulators, and open-source tools may be used, provided they are properly disclosed.
AI tools may be used where permitted, but the team must understand, explain, and take responsibility for the submitted solution.
Teams handling public-safety or citizen-related data must use only authorized, anonymized, simulated, or publicly available datasets.
Participants must not attempt to access confidential police records, restricted systems, or private personal information.
Any form of plagiarism, copied work, false representation, or unauthorized assistance will result in immediate disqualification.
Teams may work on only one official problem statement.
Participants must attend all mandatory checkpoints and evaluation rounds.
Submitted projects must be functional and capable of being demonstrated to the jury.
Teams must submit their work before the announced deadline.
Participants must follow the venue’s safety regulations and the event’s code of conduct.
Damage to venue property or equipment may result in disqualification and recovery of damages.
Misconduct, harassment, disruption, or inappropriate behaviour will not be tolerated.
Participants are responsible for safeguarding their personal belongings.
The organizers will not be responsible for lost or damaged items.
The judges’ decision will be final and binding.
The organizers reserve the right to modify the schedule, evaluation process, or competition guidelines when necessary.
