PromptWars 2026 — Guidelines, Format & Rules About the Competition PromptWars 2026 is a hands-on AI & Prompt Engineering Competition conducted by InnoTech Hub in collaboration with Hack2Skills Google for Developers & Build with AI. The competition is designed to test participants on their ability to understand problems, engineer effective prompts, work with Generative AI, experiment with different approaches, and develop creative solutions. The problem statement will be revealed on the day of the event, making the competition focused on real-time thinking, experimentation, and execution. Event Details: Date: 30 October 2026Time: 8:00 AM – 5:30 PMVenue: St. Peter's Engineering College, HyderabadPrize Pool: ₹15,000+ & TnC Apply Eligibility: Open to college students and AI/technology enthusiasts. Participants from different colleges can participate. Participants from different branches/specializations are allowed. Prior knowledge of AI or programming is beneficial but not mandatory. Participants must be physically present at the venue to participate. Participants must carry a valid college/student ID or other valid identification if requested by the organizers. Competition Format: The competition will be conducted offline at St. Peter's Engineering College, Hyderabad. The problem statement/challenge will be revealed on the day of the event. Participants will receive the challenge along with the competition instructions and evaluation criteria. Participants will use Prompt Engineering, Generative AI, creativity, reasoning, and problem-solving skills to develop their solution. Participants may be required to demonstrate or present their solution to the judging panel. The competition will consist of one primary challenge, with the possibility of additional evaluation/presentation stages depending on the event flow. The detailed challenge, submission format, tools permitted, evaluation criteria, and timelines will be announced by the organizers at the venue. Competition Duration: The overall event is scheduled from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM. The exact time allocated for the competition challenge will be announced along with the problem statement on the day of the event. REGISTRATION PROCESS: Registration for PromptWars 2026 is a mandatory 2-step process. Participants must complete both registrations to be considered successfully registered for the event. Step 1 — Register on Hack2Skill First, complete your registration through the official Hack2Skill PromptWars 2026 event page: Hack2Skill PromptWars 2026 Make sure to complete the Hack2Skill registration using your correct Name, Email ID, and Mobile Number. Step 2 — Complete the InnoTech Hub Participant Form After successfully registering on Hack2Skill, you must submit the official InnoTech Hub participant form: InnoTech Hub Participant Form Please use the same Name, Email ID, and Mobile Number that you used on Hack2Skill. This is required to match and verify your participation. ️ Event Pass & Ground Services The official PromptWars 2026 event registration and event pass are completely FREE. A separate ₹250 per-person participant-services contribution is applicable for food, refreshments, and other on-ground event services/logistics. The ₹250 contribution is NOT a registration fee or event entry fee. It does not affect your eligibility for the free official event pass. ️ Both Hack2Skill registration and the InnoTech Hub form are mandatory. Completing only one of them will not complete your registration. Team Participation Participants may participate individually or as part of a team, subject to the team-size limits announced by the organizers. Inter-college teams are permitted. Inter-specialization / inter-branch teams are permitted. A participant cannot be part of multiple teams for the same competition. Team composition must be finalized before the competition begins. Rules Participants must complete the required registration process before participating in the competition. Participants must report to the venue within the designated reporting time. The problem statement will be disclosed only on the day of the event. Participants must work only on the assigned challenge and submit their solution within the specified deadline. Participants are responsible for ensuring that their submissions are original and developed during the competition period. Plagiarism, impersonation, submission of another participant's work, or misrepresentation of work may result in immediate disqualification. Participants must follow the tools, platforms, and resources permitted by the organizing team. Any attempt to manipulate, exploit, disrupt, or unfairly influence the competition environment may result in disqualification. Participants must follow all instructions provided by the organizing team, mentors, and judges. The judging criteria may include prompt quality, effectiveness of the solution, creativity, reasoning, output quality, problem understanding, and overall implementation, as applicable to the challenge. Judges' decisions regarding evaluation, ranking, and winners will be final and binding. Participants must maintain professional conduct throughout the event and comply with the venue's rules and regulations. The organizers reserve the right to modify the competition schedule, format, rules, or evaluation process if required. Any significant changes will be communicated to participants. The organizers reserve the right to disqualify any participant or team found violating the competition rules or engaging in misconduct. Registration & Event Pass: Official PromptWars 2026 registration and event entry are FREE. There is no registration fee or event entry fee. A separate ₹250 per-person participant-services contribution may be collected for food, refreshments, and other on-ground event services/logistics. The ₹250 amount is NOT a registration fee and does NOT represent the cost of the official event pass.  Important Registration Note Participants must provide the same Full Name, Email Address, and Mobile Number across the required registration platforms/forms to ensure successful verification. Participants are responsible for providing accurate information during registration.
