About the Event Most hackathons stop at “it works.” Prompts to Profits starts there. Prompts to Profits is a three-round game-building hackathon where participants turn their ideas into working games using AI-powered vibe coding. No prior coding experience is required! In a world where anyone can build a game with AI, success depends on more than just code. It's about having a great idea, creating a compelling product, and convincing others that your game is worth backing. At Prompts to Profits, participants will not only build games but also experience the thrill of a virtual marketplace. Every team receives virtual points and bids on games developed by other teams, putting their creativity, product thinking, and market sense to the test. Event Details Date: 1 November 2026 Venue: AB 10/103, IIT Gandhinagar Mode: Offline for Round 1 Team Size: 3 members Eligibility: college students Registration Fee: Free Total Prize Pool: ₹3,00,000 across all three rounds Participants without a complete team can register individually or in smaller groups and form teams of three with other participants at the venue. Opening Session: Fireside Chat with Dharmil Bavishi The event begins with an insightful fireside chat with Dharmil Bavishi, Co-founder of Bullspree, a gamified app for learning the stock market. Bullspree received funding on Shark Tank India. Hear a real founder's perspective on building, funding, and growing a startup, and gain insights into the entrepreneurial journey. How It Works Prompts to Profits consists of three rounds: Round 1: In-Person Hackathon at IIT Gandhinagar Teams of three will build a game using the vibe-coding platform selected for the event. Once the games are ready, teams receive virtual points and bid on games created by other teams. The complete rules and instructions will be revealed at the event. Round 2: Online Round Selected teams from Round 1 advance to the online round, where they compete for a place in the grand finale. Round 3: Grand Finale at Masters' Union University, Gurgaon Qualified teams compete in the final round at Masters' Union University, Gurgaon. Teams qualifying for Round 3 will receive fully sponsored flights to Gurgaon.
