NextHorizon 2026 is an open innovation hackathon that empowers students to transform bold ideas into impactful solutions. Participants from every domain are invited to identify real world challenges and build innovative technology driven projects that create meaningful value. Whether your idea focuses on AI, cybersecurity, healthcare, education, sustainability, fintech, or any other field, this is your opportunity to innovate, collaborate, and showcase your skills before industry experts and mentors. Selection Process Round 1 • Idea Proposal and PPT Submission Teams will submit a professional presentation explaining the problem statement, proposed solution, innovation, technical approach, feasibility, expected impact, and future scope. Submission Guidelines The presentation should be submitted in PDF or PPT/PPTX format before the submission deadline. Evaluation Criteria Problem Statement and Relevance Innovation and Creativity Technical Feasibility Scalability and Impact Presentation Quality Submission Guidelines File Format: PDF or PPT/PPTX Maximum Slides: 10 Maximum File Size: 20 MB Team Name must be mentioned on the first slide Late submissions will not be considered Only shortlisted teams will advance to the next round. Round 2 • Expert Evaluation and Validation Shortlisted teams will present their ideas to the evaluation panel for detailed validation based on originality, technical feasibility, scalability, business potential, and overall execution strategy. Evaluation Criteria Problem Understanding Innovation and Originality Technical Feasibility Architecture and Technology Stack Scalability and Business Potential Team Presentation and Q&A Only the highest scoring teams will be shortlisted for the Grand Finale. Round 3 • Grand Finale The top teams will build and present their final solution before the judging panel where projects will be evaluated on innovation, implementation, user experience, presentation, and real world impact.
