Overview Get ready for HACK IT ON’26, the ultimate 24-hour inter-college hackathon where innovation meets teamwork! Event Overview Date: 8th & 9th October 2026 Mode: Offline Venue: Department of IT, KPR Institute of Engineering and Technology (KPRIET), Coimbatore Duration: 24 Hours Non-Stop Team Size: 2–4 Members Eligibility: Open to External Participants Registration Fee (Per Participant) IEEE Member: ₹500 Non-IEEE Member: ₹600 Only the Team Leader should complete the payment and registration process for the team. All participants will receive food, refreshments, and exclusive HACK IT ON’26 goodies throughout the event. Hackathon Domains Choose from exciting and impactful technology domains: AI & Smart Solutions Cyber Defense & Digital Security Health and Wellness Tech Green & Sustainable Tech Industry & Automation Open Innovation & Future Technologies These six domains and their official positioning are from the HACK IT ON’26 domain material. Judging Criteria Your project will be evaluated on: Innovation & Creativity Technical Implementation Problem Solving & Impact Feasibility & Scalability UI/UX Design Presentation & Communication Skills Rules & Guidelines All major work, including code, design, and project development, must be carried out during the event. You may use open-source tools, APIs, libraries, and development frameworks with applicable attribution and licensing. Maintain one dedicated GitHub repository per team and be prepared to provide project progress or commit history. Plagiarism, misconduct, intellectual-property violations, or unfair practices may lead to immediate disqualification. The jury and organising committee’s decision is final and binding.
