About this hackathon
The first Annual Green & AI Hackathon brings ESCP students together for one day at the Encode Hub to turn entrepreneurial ideas into commercially credible solutions using AI and digital tools.Environmental sustainability is the central theme, but you have scope to pursue your own entrepreneurial idea. What matters is that you think about four things at once: commercial viability, responsible use of AI, sustainability, and whether an investor would back it.Some of you will arrive with an idea already formed. Others will build a team and find one on the day. Either way, you will take it from problem to proposition to prototype to pitch in a single compressed, practical day.The day opens with a keynote from Julien Decot, followed by a half-hour AI Ethics & Responsible Usage workshop led by Professor Alara Tascioglu, then your hackathon rules and a walkthrough of the AI tools available to you. Markus Leutert serves as Head Judge and roving mentor throughout the day.Hosted by ESCP Blue Factory and the ESCP London Green & Impact Office, in partnership with Encode Club.
