How to register
Register first. Registration is open now and stays open until Dec 6, 2026. The challenge launches and project submissions open on Nov 16. We use the email you register with to issue your Adaption credits, so register with the email you want the credits on.
How to claim credits
After you register, sign up at Adaption Labs with the same email you registered with. Adaption whitelists registered emails within one business day of receiving them and sends you one email when your credits are ready.
What you build
Improve a dataset for one shared task using Adaption, measure it before and after on an evaluation agreed with Adaption, and show the difference. You submit a project link and a short note on how you used Adaption. The task, the metric and where to submit will be announced.
Judging
Hackyard runs judging. Adaption verifies signups and dataset runs, and a judge from Adaption's team sits on the final round. Judging criteria will be announced.
Rules
The challenge runs online and is open to developers internationally.
Participants must be 18 or older, as required by Adaption's terms of service.
You keep ownership of what you build.
Adaption won't use your registration email for marketing and won't share or sell it.
