Welcome to GLITCHATHON - the hackathon where bugs are features and AI is your superpower.
you and your team will build an AI-powered project that solves a real problem for students, campuses, or communities. No prior hackathon experience needed. If you can think of an idea and want to ship it, you belong here.
WHAT IS GLITCHATHON?
GLITCHATHON is a The theme is Build with AI. You can use any AI approach: LLMs, computer vision, speech, recommendation systems, classical ML, or anything creative in between.
WHO CAN JOIN?
Students from any college or university. Teams of 1 to 4 members. Beginners are welcome.
PROBLEM STATEMENTS (pick one or bring your own idea)
1. Semester Survival Copilot
Build an AI assistant that turns a student's syllabus and exam dates into a realistic weekly study plan. It should adapt when the student falls behind, flag burnout risk, and turn lecture notes into flashcards and quizzes.
2. Glitch Detective
Build an AI that explains why code breaks, not just how to fix it. A student pastes an error and gets a plain-English walkthrough, the root cause, and a short practice exercise on the same type of bug.
3. Local Language Voice Tutor
Build a voice-first learning tool for regional languages. A student asks a question in Hindi, Gujarati, Tamil, or another language and gets a simple spoken answer in the same language.
4. Campus Lost-and-Found Matcher
Build a tool where students upload a photo or description of a lost item, and a vision model matches it against found-item posts and alerts the owner. Bonus: extend it to campus issue reporting (broken lights, Wi-Fi dead zones).
5. Fake-or-Real Checker
Build a browser extension or app that checks internship offers, scholarship links, and viral forwards for scam patterns, then gives a trust score with clear reasons.
6. Open Track
Got your own AI idea? Build it. Judges love original thinking.
