About this hackathon
FORGEX AI 2026 – National Level 24-Hour Hackathon is an exciting platform for college and university students to collaborate, innovate, and develop technology-driven solutions to real-world challenges. Participants will compete in teams and transform their ideas into functional prototypes within an intensive 24-hour development period.
Eligibility
Open to students from colleges and universities.
Participants must carry a valid college/university ID card.
Teams must consist of 2 to 4 members.
Inter-college teams are allowed, encouraging collaboration among students from different institutions.
Inter-specialization/inter-department teams are allowed.

Participants can develop solutions in the following domains:
Generative AI & Artificial Intelligence
Machine Learning
Cloud Computing
Web & App Development
Competition Format & Process
The hackathon will be conducted over 24 hours.
Problem statements will be revealed at the beginning of the hackathon.
Teams will select or work on the problem statement assigned/provided during the event.
Participants will ideate, design, develop, test, and demonstrate their solutions during the official hackathon period.
The event will conclude with a final project presentation and live demonstration before the jury.
️ Rules & Guidelines
Development should primarily take place during the official hackathon duration.
Participants may use open-source libraries, APIs, datasets, and publicly available tools, with proper attribution.
AI tools and APIs are permitted; however, participants must understand and clearly explain their implementation.
Any pre-existing code used must be disclosed and should comply with the organizers' guidelines.
Projects must be original and developed by the participating team.
Plagiarism, copying another team's work, or presenting a previously completed project as a new submission is strictly prohibited.
Teams must respect intellectual property, copyright, privacy, and ethical technology practices.
Participants must bring their own laptop, charger, and junction/extension box.
Judging Criteria
Projects will be evaluated based on Innovation & Creativity, Technical Implementation, Problem Relevance, Impact & Scalability, User Experience, Quality of Prototype, and Presentation & Demonstration.
