Kyberastra 2025 is a 24-hour national-level hackathon organized by the School of Computing, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Chennai, under the banner of Amrita CyberNation (ACN). This hackathon challenges the brightest innovators from across India to tackle real-world cybersecurity and technology challenges that shape the future of digital resilience. Participants will get the chance to: Build impactful solutions in cutting-edge domains like AI-driven cyber defence, data privacy, blockchain, resilient supply chains, and agentic AI. Collaborate across colleges & disciplines to solve pressing problems. Network with industry experts, mentors, and recruiters while competing for exciting prizes. Round 1: Online Screening Teams submit their idea & proposed solution virtually Submission Deadline: 12th September 2025 Shortlisting: Top 15 teams announced on 13th September 2025. Round 2: On-Campus Hackathon (24 Hours) Date: 15th September 2025, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Chennai Campus. Selected teams develop working prototypes within 24 hours. Final Presentations & Judging Date: 16th September 2025 Teams pitch their solutions before an expert jury. Winners announced on the same day. Participants can choose problem statements from five futuristic domains: Next-Gen Threat Detection & Response – AI/ML-driven real-time cyber defense. Data Privacy, Encryption & Secure Access – Secure data protection in cloud & remote work. Blockchain-Powered Trust & Transparency – Decentralized & tamper-proof ecosystems. Resilient Digital Supply Chains – Secure, disruption-proof digital logistics. Agentic AI – Adaptive AI agents for autonomous defenses. Eligibility: Open to all UG students from any discipline across India. Team size: 2–5 members. Rewards & Perks: Exciting prize pool of 30K Certificates for all finalists. Chance to interact with industry leaders, mentors, and recruiters. National-level recognition for winners & top teams. Rules & Guidelines: Round 1: Teams must clearly explain the idea, problem statement, and proposed solution. Round 2: Teams must develop and demo a working prototype. Original Work – Submissions must be original; plagiarism or unauthorized use of pre-built solutions leads to disqualification Team Size – 2–5 members per team. Once registered, teams cannot be changed. Open-source tools/libraries allowed with proper credits. Code of Conduct – Teams must maintain professionalism, respect judges/mentors, and uphold fairness. Decision Finality – Jury & organizers’ decisions will be final. Judging Criteria – Evaluation will be based on: Innovation, Feasibility, Technical depth, Presentation quality, Real-world impact. Describe how it works and what makes it unique. Key Features: List the main features and functionalities of your proposed project. 4. Technical & Business Plan: Technology Stack: Mention the primary languages, frameworks, hardware, or technologies you plan to use during implementation. Cost/Expenses: A brief and estimated overview of any potential costs required to build or deploy the solution. Sustainability: Explain how the project could be maintained, scaled, or sustained after the hackathon. Recommended Length: We suggest keeping your presentation concise and impactful, ideally between 5 to 8 slides.
