Neuronexus is a 24-hour Machine Learning Hackathon organized by the Know-I club, Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Sri Venkateswara College of Engineering, Sriperumbudur. The event is designed to challenge participants’ creativity, problem-solving, and innovation in applying ML/AI to real-world problems.Open to both beginners and experienced developers passionate about data science, AI, and emerging technologies. Event Format: First round includes submission of abstract following which shortlisted teams will move to the final round! 24-hour Hackathon at YuniQ, Ticel Park, Tharamani. Team-based competition, 4 participants per team.  Teams develop innovative ML/AI-powered solutions within the time limit. Final submission includes working prototype + presentation/demo. Venue: YuniQ, TICEL Bio Park, Tharamani, Chennai. Date & Time: October 11th & 12th, 2025 24-hour hackathon (from 11th October 2025 9:30 AM to 12th October 2025 9:30 AM) Team Size: 4 membersRegistration Fee: ₹200 per participant (only for shortlisted teams)Payment confirms your participationInter-department and Inter-year teams allowed Domains include: Quantum Computing Business and Operation management Bio-Medical Fintech Cybersecurity Aerospace and Defense  And Student Innovation! Why Participate: Gain hands-on machine learning and AI project experience. Showcase your innovation and technical skills in front of industry experts. Network with peers, mentors, and industry professionals. Build projects that can be extended into research or startups Team Formation & Eligibility: Each team is to have 4 members.Open to all college students (any branch from 2nd to 4th years). Event Conduct: Uphold fair play, collaboration, and respect for organizers, mentors, and teams. No plagiarism. External code libraries/tools may be used if properly acknowledged. Judging Criteria: Working Implementation Presentation Feasibility of Product on the long run Viability  Strict adherence to schedule (no extra time will be granted) Use of Resources: Participants may use laptops, online resources, APIs, and open-source tools. Collaboration across teams is not allowed. AI assistants/tools may be used for reference, but originality is mandatory Disputes & Decisions: Concerns must be raised with the organizing committee. Judges decisions will be final and under no circumstance will there be any changes.
