DevHack IIMTU 2026 Organized by: GDG on Campus – IIMT, Meerut Overview: DevHack IIMTU 2026 is a developer-focused hackathon organized by GDG on Campus – IIMT, Meerut, bringing together student developers, innovators, and technology enthusiasts to build meaningful, impactful solutions using technology. Under the theme “Build for Impact”, participants will get the opportunity to transform ideas into working solutions across domains such as Artificial Intelligence, Web Development, App Development, Cloud, and Emerging Technologies. Event Dates: 18 September 2026 — Online Build & Project Submission 19 September 2026 — Offline Finale, Evaluation & Awards IIMT University, Meerut Theme: BUILD FOR IMPACT Think beyond just building a project. Identify a real-world problem, develop an innovative solution, and demonstrate how technology can create meaningful impact. BUILD • SOLVE • INNOVATE Hackathon Format: Day 1 — 18 September: Online hackathon build phase Project development Mentorship & guidance Final project submission Day 2 — 19 September: Offline finale at IIMT University, Meerut Shortlisted teams present their projects Live project demonstrations Evaluation by the judging panel Awards & felicitation Technology Areas: Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning Web Development App Development Cloud Technologies Emerging Technologies Other innovative technology-based solutions Participants are encouraged to choose technologies that best fit their problem statement and solution. Eligibility: Open to student developers, innovators and technology enthusiasts. Participants should be interested in building technology-driven solutions. Teams should consist of members who can actively contribute to the project. Participants must comply with the hackathon rules and submission requirements. How It Works: 1. Register Complete your registration through the official Unstop registration page. 2. Form Your Team Build your team and collaborate with members having complementary skills. 3. Identify a Problem Choose a meaningful real-world problem aligned with the theme Build for Impact. 4. Build Your Solution Develop your working prototype/project during the official hackathon build period. 5. Submit Your Project Submit the required project details within the specified deadline. 6. Shortlisting Projects will be evaluated based on the judging criteria and shortlisted for the offline finale. 7. Demo & Evaluation Shortlisted teams will present and demonstrate their projects before the judges at IIMT University. 8. Winners Announced The best-performing teams will be recognized and felicitated during the finale. Judging Criteria: Innovation & Originality Technical Execution Real-World Impact Presentation & Demo Use of Technology The judges' decision will be final. Important Rules: Projects must be developed during the official hackathon build period. Participants should submit their projects before the specified submission deadline. Teams must be able to demonstrate their project during the offline finale if shortlisted. Projects should be original and developed by the participating team. Plagiarism or unauthorized use of another team's work may result in disqualification. Participants must follow the instructions and deadlines communicated by the organizing team. The organizing team reserves the right to disqualify submissions that violate the hackathon rules or guidelines. Why Participate?
