Overview: K! Hacks 3.0 is a national-level hackathon organized by the CEG Tech Forum. It invites engineering students across the country to develop innovative, real-world solutions in domains such as Women Empowerment, EdTech, FinTech, Health Tech, Web3, Disaster Management, Environment & Sustainability, and Trust & Privacy. The event consists of two rounds: Round 1 – an online idea submission round Round 2 – a 24-hour offline hackathon Top-performing teams will receive exciting prizes and the opportunity to showcase their projects at Kurukshetra 2026. Participants will also gain valuable exposure, insights, and networking opportunities with industry experts and sponsors. Tracks: Women Empowerment EdTech FinTech Health Tech Web 3 Disaster Management Environment & Sustainability Trust & Privacy Eligibility Criteria: Participation is exclusively open to engineering students. Idea submissions must follow the official Submission Template. (Download here) Submission Rules: Round 1 (Online): Round 1 will be conducted completely online, with no participation fee. Participants must submit ideas relevant to the domains limited to Women Empowerment, EdTech, FinTech, Health Tech, Web 3, Disaster Management, Environment & Sustainability and Trust & Privacy on or before December 19th. Submissions should strictly follow the template provided on Unstop or access it [here]. Any addition or modification to the given template is strictly prohibited. The top 25 teams with the most compelling and domain-aligned ideas will be shortlisted. Shortlisted teams will be announced between January 5th – 8th. Results of Round 1 will be announced 15-20 days before Round 2 to ensure participants from different states/countries can plan their journey ahead. Evaluation of Round 1 will be done by multiple panels of sponsors and professors. Selected teams must confirm participation within 2 days of the Round 1 result announcement. Teams failing to confirm will not be considered for the finals. Round 2 (Offline): The 24-hour hackathon will be held offline on January 24th – 25th at Anna University, Chennai. No registration fee is required for Round 2. A new set of problem statements will be released prior to the day of the hackathon. Teams must choose only from the official problem statements. Participants should not bring existing projects from previous hackathons. If found without prior disclosure, the team will be disqualified. Teams must bring their own laptops and required components. Power supply and internet access will be provided. Projects will be judged on innovation, implementation, impact, business value, feasibility, and presentation. Jury decisions are final. Team Rules: Teams must consist of 2 to 4 members. All members must be current engineering students in India. Students from different engineering colleges may form a team. Team changing or shuffling will not be encouraged. Accommodation: Accommodation will be provided for the night of January 23rd, 2026. Food and refreshments will be provided throughout the event. Organizers' Decisions: All decisions made by the organizers regarding team selection and problem statements are final.
