About the Competition
CodeForge – Coding Competition is a competitive programming event designed to test participants' problem-solving, logical thinking, data structures, and algorithmic skills. Participants will solve programming problems within a fixed time limit and compete based on their performance.
Eligibility
Open to undergraduate students from any recognized college/university.
Students from all engineering/technical specializations are eligible.
Participants from different colleges can form a team.
Participants from different specializations can form a team.
No prior competitive programming rating or experience is required.
Team Formation
Participation can be individual or in teams of up to 2 members.
Inter-college teams are allowed.
Inter-specialization teams are allowed.
Each participant can be part of only one team.
Competition Format
Round 1 – Coding Round
Total Problems: 5 coding problems
Duration: 90 minutes
Problems will cover arrays, strings, searching, sorting, data structures, algorithms, and problem-solving.
Problems will have different difficulty levels.
Participants can use any programming language supported by the platform.
Evaluation
Ranking will primarily be based on the number of problems solved.
In case of a tie, penalty time/submission time will be considered.
All submissions will be evaluated automatically through test cases.
Participants must ensure that their submitted code passes the required test cases.
Rules
Participants must submit their own solutions.
Plagiarism or copying another participant's code is strictly prohibited.
Sharing solutions, code, or test cases with other participants is not allowed.
Use of unfair means or external assistance during the competition may result in disqualification.
Participants must submit their solutions before the round ends.
Multiple submissions are allowed unless otherwise specified.
The organizers reserve the right to disqualify participants violating the competition rules.
The decision of the organizers regarding disqualification and final rankings will be considered final.
Participants are responsible for maintaining a stable internet connection and ensuring that their code is submitted successfully.
Any attempt to exploit the competition platform or evaluation system may lead to immediate disqualification.
