About this hackathon
Overview:
CodeBreaker is an online hackathon conducted by Kira’s Logic × CodeBlooded, designed to challenge participants to think creatively, solve real-world problems, and turn their ideas into working prototypes.
Hackathon Format:
The hackathon will be conducted in 3 rounds:
Round 1 — Idea/PPT Submission:
Participants will submit their solution idea in the prescribed PPT format. Submissions will be evaluated based on problem understanding, innovation, feasibility, proposed solution, and overall presentation.
Round 2 — Online Mentorship & Refinement:
Shortlisted teams will receive online mentorship to refine their ideas, improve their technical approach, and develop their prototype. Mentors may provide guidance on technology, implementation, scalability, and presentation.
Round 3 — Grand Finale: Prototype Demonstration:
Finalist teams will present and demonstrate their working prototype online before the judging panel. Teams will explain their solution, demonstrate its functionality, and answer questions from the judges.
Eligibility:
Open to students and aspiring developers/innovators.
Participants may register individually or as a team.
Inter-college teams are allowed.
Participants from different academic specializations are allowed.
Teams should follow the maximum team-size requirement specified during registration.
Rules:
All submissions must be the original work of the participating team.
Teams must submit their work within the announced deadlines.
Participants may use open-source technologies, APIs, frameworks, and publicly available resources, while complying with their respective licenses.
Plagiarism or submission of substantially copied projects may result in disqualification.
Teams must be available for the online mentorship and Grand Finale rounds if shortlisted.
The prototype demonstrated in the Grand Finale should correspond to the solution submitted during the hackathon.
Judges' decisions regarding qualification and evaluation will be final.
