AI for Bharat Hackathon 2026
India faces problems that global, off-the-shelf AI solutions often fail to solve - language diversity, rural access gaps, agricultural unpredictability, and healthcare reach. This hackathon challenges participants to build AI-powered solutions tailored to real Indian contexts.
Theme Tracks
Regional Language AI (voice, translation, low-resource NLP)
AgriTech (crop advisory, pest detection, yield prediction)
Rural Healthcare Access (diagnostics, telemedicine tools)
Smart Public Transport & Civic Infrastructure
Financial Inclusion (rural banking, fraud detection, micro-credit)
EligibilityOpen to students (undergraduate & postgraduate) and early-career professionals. Only Individual participation allowed for final submission.
Format
Stage 1: Idea/PPT submission (shortlisting round)
Stage 2: 24–36 hour build sprint (online)
Stage 3: Final presentation & live demo to judges
Rules
Use of open-source datasets, public APIs, and pre-trained models is allowed and encouraged
