Grand Hack IPEC is a 24-hour national-level offline hackathon organized by HackShastra in collaboration with Inderprastha Engineering College (IPEC), Ghaziabad. Inspired by the iconic GTA San Andreas theme, the hackathon combines innovation, technology, and creativity in an immersive experience where participants build impactful solutions to real-world challenges.
The Offline Grand Finale will take place on 26–27 September 2026 at Inderprastha Engineering College, Ghaziabad. Idea submissions are currently open, while the schedule for the online shortlisting and mentorship round will be announced soon.

Eligibility:
Open to undergraduate and postgraduate students from all colleges and universities across India.
Participants can register individually or as a team.
Team size: 2–4 members.
Cross-college and cross-disciplinary teams are allowed.
Each participant can be a part of only one team.
Competition Format:
Round 1: Online Idea Submission (Open)
Teams are required to submit a presentation (PPT) outlining their problem statement, proposed solution, implementation approach, technology stack, and expected impact. This round evaluates the innovation, feasibility, and clarity of each idea.
Round 2: Online Shortlisting & Mentorship
Shortlisted teams will be invited to participate in mentorship sessions with industry experts to refine their ideas and prepare for the final round. The dates and schedule for this round will be announced after the completion of idea submissions.
Round 3: Offline Grand Finale
Selected teams will compete in the 24-hour overnight hackathon on 26–27 September 2026 at Inderprastha Engineering College, Ghaziabad, where they will build working prototypes and present their solutions before an expert judging panel.

Rules:
All submitted work must be original.
Teams must build their projects during the hackathon. Existing projects are not permitted.
Participants are encouraged to use open-source tools and APIs while complying with their respective licenses.
Any form of plagiarism or unethical conduct will result in immediate disqualification.
Teams must be present throughout the offline finale.
The decision of the organizing team and judges will be final.
