RoboAuto Hackathon 2026 – AGV & Automation Challenge: RoboAuto Hackathon 2026 is an intensive 24-hour hands-on robotics and automation challenge designed to push the boundaries of innovation in autonomous systems. Organized by the Robotics and Innovation Club of Vidya Jyothi Institute of Technology (VJIT), Hyderabad, this event invites engineering students to design and build Automated Guided Vehicle (AGV)-like robots and smart automation solutions that solve real-world industrial problems. Participants will work in teams to develop functional prototypes capable of tasks such as line-following, path planning, obstacle avoidance, and material transport—core concepts used in modern factories and warehouses. Throughout the hackathon, teams will receive guidance from experienced mentors and faculty, helping them refine their ideas and improve execution under real-time constraints. What You'll Build: AGV-like robots for material handling. Line-following or path-guided systems. Obstacle detection and avoidance solutions. Mini automation systems simulating industrial workflows. Event Format: Duration: 24 hours (continuous build and overnight hacking). Structure: Idea pitching. Development and mentorship rounds. Final demo and evaluation. Why Participate?: Gain hands-on experience in robotics, embedded systems, and automation. Work on real-world industrial problem statements. Collaborate in teams within a competitive environment. Win exciting prizes from a ₹10,000 prize pool. Earn certificates and recognition.
