Innovasia is the official annual hackathon organized by the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Vasavi College of Engineering, Hyderabad. Participants get an opportunity to innovate and develop solutions across diverse technology domains. Eligibility: Open to all undergraduate students currently enrolled in any college or university. Inter-college teams: Allowed. Inter-specialization teams: Allowed (teams can include members from different fields of study). Team size: 2–4 members. All members must meet the eligibility criteria. Registration and Fee: Preliminary round: No registration fee. Only shortlisted teams need to pay Rs. 800/- per team by 13th November 2025. Online registration deadline: 30th October 2025 EOD. Themes: AI/ML, Cybersecurity & IoT: AI/ML: Build solutions for predictive analytics, NLP, computer vision, or adaptive learning systems. Cybersecurity: Design systems to protect data, ensure secure communication, and defend against digital threats. IoT: Develop interconnected devices for smart environments while ensuring secure data exchange. Med-Tech & Fin-Tech: Med-Tech: Create tools for diagnostics, patient care, wearable tech, telemedicine, or AI health assistants. Fin-Tech: Innovate in digital wallets, fraud detection, blockchain solutions, or inclusive banking applications. Gaming & Interactive Media: Gaming: Build engaging mobile, AR/VR, or multiplayer games for entertainment, education, or social impact. Interactive Media: Develop dynamic content that responds to users via simulations, AR, or interactive storytelling.
