About the Event:
Nerds Room: Launch Hacks is the official chapter launch hackathon for Dev Nerds, the developer-focused initiative by Nerds Room.
The event brings together coders, developers, and builders at AIMT for a full-day, hands-on building experience focused on creating applications using FlutterFlow.
Nerds Room is an active technology community organizing hackathons, workshops, meetups, and developer-focused initiatives for builders, coders, and technology enthusiasts.

Eligibility:
Open to students and aspiring developers interested in app development, no-code/low-code development, and building digital products.
Participants can register individually or form teams of up to 4 members.
Participants from different years, branches, and specializations can form a team.
Inter-specialization teams are allowed.
Inter-college teams are not allowed for this edition unless approved by the organizers.
No prior FlutterFlow or hackathon experience is required.
Hackathon Format:
The hackathon will take place from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
Opening & Briefing:
The event will begin with an introduction to Nerds Room, Dev Nerds, the hackathon format, rules, judging criteria, and an overview of FlutterFlow.
Problem Statement Announcement:
The problem statements will be announced on Sunday, 16 August 2026. Participants will receive the problem statements in advance to understand the challenge and prepare their ideas.
Ideation & Building:
Teams will work on their selected problem statement and develop their solution using FlutterFlow. Teams are encouraged to focus on practical, innovative, and user-centric solutions.
Mentorship & Development:
Participants will work on their projects throughout the hackathon and can seek guidance, feedback, and technical support during the event.
Project Submission:
Teams must submit their completed project before the announced submission deadline along with the required project details and project link.
Project Showcase & Judging:
Teams will demonstrate their projects to the judging panel. Selected teams may be required to give a short presentation explaining their problem statement, solution, implementation, and impact.
Results & Closing:
The winners will be announced after the evaluation and project showcase.
Problem Statements:
The problem statements will be announced on 16 August 2026.
Teams can select a problem statement based on the format announced by the organizers.
Participants are encouraged to build solutions that are practical, innovative, functional, and capable of addressing real-world problems.
Rules:
Each participant can be part of only one team.
Each team can have a maximum of 4 members.
The project must be developed during the hackathon.
Participants must utilize FlutterFlow as the primary platform for building their application.
Participants may use permitted APIs, integrations, libraries, assets, and other development tools where applicable.
Pre-built projects or substantially completed projects created before the hackathon may be disqualified.
Plagiarism or submission of another person's work will result in immediate disqualification.
Teams must be able to explain and demonstrate their submitted project.
All projects must be submitted before the announced deadline.
Participants must follow the instructions of the organizers, mentors, judges, and venue authorities.
The decision of the judging panel will be final.
