Agnitia 2026 – 36-Hour National-Level Hackathon
Overview:
AGNITIA 2026 is a national-level 36-hour hackathon organized by the Prestige Institute of Engineering Management and Research (PIEMR), Indore.
AGNITIA brings together passionate student innovators, developers, designers, and problem-solvers from across India to transform ideas into impactful technology-driven solutions.
Participants will get the opportunity to explore real-world challenges, collaborate within teams, build innovative solutions, and showcase their technical and problem-solving capabilities.
Tracks:
1. CIPHER — Cybersecurity & Digital Trust
Building safer digital systems, protecting data, and making AI and autonomous technologies more trustworthy.
2. APEX — Autonomous Intelligence & AI Agents
Creating AI systems that can think, make decisions, learn, and perform tasks on their own.
3. PRAGATI — Technology for National Transformation
Using technology to solve real-world problems and create meaningful impact across India.
4. TERRA — Planet, Climate & Resilience
Using technology to tackle climate change, manage resources, and prepare for environmental challenges.
5. ODYSSEY — Open Innovation
An open platform to explore bold ideas and build creative, unconventional solutions to real-world problems of your choice.
Note:
Participants are free to propose their own innovative ideas within their selected track during Round 1.
The final Round 2 problem statements will be provided to shortlisted teams after Round 1.

Hackathon Structure:
Round 1 – Idea/PPT Submission
10 September – 25 September 2026
The first round is an online idea submission and screening round.
Teams will select a track of their interest and propose an innovative solution based on that track.
Participants will submit their idea/PPT through Unstop.
Submissions will be evaluated based on innovation, relevance, feasibility, technical approach, and overall potential.
The best submissions will be shortlisted for the 36-hour hackathon.
No fixed problem statements will be provided in Round 1. Participants are free to develop their ideas within their selected track.
Round 2 – 36-Hour Hackathon
8–10 October 2026
Shortlisted teams will advance to the offline 36-hour hackathon at PIEMR, Indore.
Selected teams will receive the official Round 2 problem statements after the completion of Round 1.
Teams will develop, test, and refine their solutions during the 36-hour development sprint.
Participants will have opportunities to interact with mentors and receive guidance throughout the hackathon.
Teams will finally demonstrate and present their solutions before the judging panel.
Winners will be selected based on the official judging criteria announced by the organizers.
Team Size:
Each team must consist of 2–4 members.
Participants are required to register and participate as a team.
Teams must comply with all official registration, submission, and participation guidelines.
Eligibility:
Open to college/university students across India.
Inter-college teams are allowed.
All team members must satisfy the eligibility requirements specified by the organizers.
Participants must carry a valid college/university identity card for verification during the offline round.
By registering, participants agree to abide by the official rules, code of conduct, submission guidelines, and decisions of the organizing committee.
