FUSION X 1.0 – 24-Hour Hackathon

Get ready to bring together innovation, technology, creativity, and problem-solving to build impactful solutions for real-world challenges. The hackathon will be conducted in 2 Rounds: Round 1 – Online Ppt Selection Mode: Online Participants/teams Must Submit Their Own Innovative Project Idea Through This Google Form. A Ppt Describing the Proposed Project Idea Must Be Uploaded Along with The Registration Form. The Submitted Ppt’s Will Be Evaluated by The Organizing Team Based On: Shortlisted Participants/teams Will Receive a Round 1 Selection Confirmation Email. The Selection Email Will Contain the Round 2 Registration Details and Payment Instructions. Note: Submission of The Round 1 Form Does Not Guarantee Selection for Round 2. Round 2 – 24-Hour Offline Hackathon Date: September 18 & 19, 2026 Mode: Offline Duration: 24 Hours Venue: Paavai Engineering College Only Participants/teams Shortlisted from Round 1 Are Eligible to Participate in Round 2. Registration Fee: ₹500 per Participant. Selected Participants Will Receive the Payment Instructions Through Email. Participants Must Complete the Payment Within the Specified Deadline to Confirm Their Participation. The 24-Hour Hackathon Will Involve Ideation, Development, Testing, and Final Solution Presentation. Problem Statement & Theme Selection Unlike a Conventional Project Submission, Participants Will Not Be Required to Develop Their Round 1 Idea During the Hackathon. Participants Will Select Their Preferred Theme During Round 2 Registration.(first Come First Serve Based) The Actual Problem Statement Will Be Revealed on The Spot at The Beginning of The Hackathon. Teams Must Understand the Given Problem Statement and Develop a Working Solution Within the 24-Hour Duration. Participants Are Encouraged to Use Their Creativity and Technical Expertise to Develop Innovative and Practical Solutions. Hackathon Themes: Smart Campus & Education Ai for Social Good Sustainability & Environment Healthcare & Medical Innovation Open Innovation & Emerging Technologies Prize Details Fusion X 1.0 Will Recognize and Reward the Top-Performing Team from Each Hackathon Theme. Theme-Wise Prizes Best Performing Team  (each Theme Has 6 Teams = 1 Internal + 5 External) ₹10,000 Cash Prize per Theme With 5 Themes, the Total Prize Pool Will Be: Total Prize Pool – ₹50,000 Note: Special Prizes and Additional Recognitions May Be Announced Based on The Funds Allocated and Sponsorship Support Received.
