Overview:
Aurex’26 is a 24-hour offline hackathon organized by the Classical Tamil Digital Library, Central Institute of Classical Tamil (CICT). The event brings together 60 teams and 180 participants to build innovative technology solutions across six tracks focused on Tamil language, digital knowledge, learning, AI, OCR, lexical exploration and open innovation.

Eligibility:
Open to eligible student participants.
Team participation only.
Each team must have exactly 3 members.
At least one team member must know Tamil.
Preferably, each team should include one female member.
Individual participation is not allowed.
Registration is free.
Rules:
Solutions must strictly address the official problem statement selected by the team.
Previously developed GitHub repositories, ready-made projects or earlier project submissions are not allowed.
The core solution must be developed during Aurex’26.
Open-source libraries, APIs, frameworks and datasets may be used where permitted.
Participants must bring their own laptop, charger and required accessories.
College/Institution ID and registration proof must be carried.
Participants must maintain discipline, professionalism and appropriate dress.
Any misconduct, plagiarism, unfair means or damage to property may lead to disqualification.
All submissions must be made within the announced deadline.
