PCU's IDEATHON 3.0 is a 24-hour hackathon where teams will work on emerging technologies to develop innovative solutions addressing real-world challenges aligned with Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Participants will collaborate under the guidance of expert mentors, focusing on fostering innovation, sustainability, teamwork, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Eligibility: Open to undergraduate students across all colleges/universities. Teams must consist of 2 to 4 members. Inter-college team members are allowed. Online presentation round via unstop, if selected the. Offline round at PCU campus Themes: Sustainability and Environment Healthcare and Well-being AI and Technology Innovations Education and Learning Smart Cities and Social Impact Farmer Empowerment & Rural Inclusivity Event Structure Round 1: Online (Idea Submission) Teams must submit the following: Team Details: Name, College, Address Idea Submission: Problem statement in 2–3 lines Pitch Deck (PDF, maximum of 10 slides) Top 40 teams will be shortlisted based on the following criteria: Innovation Feasibility Scalability Round 2: Offline (Prototyping) Phase 1: Suggestion & Feedback (First 4 Hours) Teams will submit an initial project proposal, including: Brief problem statement Proposed solution Technology stack Future plans for the solution Teams will receive guidance from mentors and refine their solutions accordingly Phase 2: Midway Evaluation (After 20 Hours) Judges will review the progress of each team. Mentors will provide feedback to help improve the solutions. Phase 3: Final Judging & Pitch (After 22 Hours) Each team will have 5 minutes to present their solution, followed by 5 minutes of Q&A. Focus on sustainability and real-world impact will be key evaluation criteria. The presentation must cover: Problem Statement and Relevance Technology Used and Integration Sustainability and Long-Term Impact Live Demo of Prototype Scalability and Future Roadmap Business Potential and Real-World Application Rules: Teams must adhere to all deadlines; late submissions will not be considered. Plagiarism is strictly prohibited and will lead to immediate disqualification. All team members must actively participate during the hackathon phase. Use of pre-built solutions is not allowed; all ideas must be original. Respectful and professional behavior is mandatory throughout the competition. The decision of the organizing committee regarding any aspect of the competition, including eligibility, disqualification, and prize distribution, is final and binding. PCU's IDEATHON 3.0 is an opportunity to create impactful solutions using cutting-edge technologies. Let’s work together to make this event a success.
