General:
The competition will be conducted entirely through the official Cryptic Hunt Portal.
Each registered team will receive unique login credentials before the event.
Participants are responsible for keeping their login credentials secure throughout the competition.
Competition Format:
Teams must begin by reading the mission briefing available on the portal.
The event consists of multiple case files that can be solved in any order unless specified otherwise.
Answers must be submitted through the portal only.
Successfully completing all case files unlocks the Final Stage.
Completing the Final Stage marks the official completion of the event.
Time & Ranking:
The event timer starts when a participant first logs into the portal.
Logging out does not pause the timer.
Every submission is automatically timestamped.
Final rankings will primarily be based on:
Successful completion of all case files.
Completion of the Final Stage.
Official completion timestamp (earlier completion ranks higher).
In case no team completes the Final Stage, rankings will be determined by overall progress.
Any ties will be resolved using the timestamp of the last successfully completed case.
Technical Guidelines:
Participants are advised to use a stable internet connection.
Technical issues arising from a participant’s device or internet connection will not qualify for additional time.
In case of portal-related issues, participants should immediately contact the organizing team.
Fair Play Policy:
Sharing answers or collaborating with other teams is strictly prohibited.
Attempting to exploit bugs, gain unauthorized access, or interfere with the event portal is prohibited.
Any form of plagiarism, cheating, or unfair practices will lead to immediate disqualification.
The organizing committee reserves the right to review submissions in case of suspicious activity.
Important:
Decisions made by the judges and the organizing committee shall be final and binding.
The organizing committee reserves the right to modify the rules if necessary.
By participating, teams agree to abide by all event rules and the decisions of the organizing committee.
