Fight. Adapt. Win. Battlecode is a competitive programming challenge by the IEEE CS Chapter that combines algorithmic problem-solving with strategic gameplay. Designed for students who enjoy coding under pressure, the event tests your DSA, logical reasoning, debugging, problem-solving, strategy and time-management skills through multiple rounds of increasing difficulty. Event Structure: Round 0 — The Warm-Up: Get familiar with the competition format and put your problem-solving skills to the test with an introductory coding challenge. Round 1 — The Challenge: Go head-to-head in 1v1 coding battles. Face another participant, solve algorithmic problems under strict time constraints and race to outscore your opponent. Round 2 — The Battle: Push your coding and strategic thinking further as the competition intensifies. Adapt to your opponents, make smart decisions and fight your way up the leaderboard. Round 3 — The Final Showdown: Face the toughest challenges of the competition, followed by a hacking phase where you can test and break other participants' solutions using carefully designed test cases.
