About Agri-Tech Hackathon 2026:
Agri-Tech Hackathon 2026 is a national-level offline hackathon that brings together the brightest minds to innovate, collaborate, and develop technology-driven solutions for agriculture. Hosted by K. J. Somaiya School of Engineering (KJSSE), this event will be a 24-hour coding sprint where participants will work on challenges spanning precision agriculture, supply chain optimization, farmers’ empowerment, biofuel innovation, and open innovation in agriculture.
This is your chance to code, create, and revolutionize the agri-tech landscape with cutting-edge technologies like AI, IoT, blockchain, and data analytics. The hackathon will conclude with a pitching round where teams present their solutions to an esteemed panel of judges from industry and academia.
Eligibility & Team Formation:
Teams must consist of 3 to 5 members.
Participants must be undergraduate students from any discipline.
Teams can have members from different colleges.
Event Structure:
Round 1: Abstract Submission (Online)
Teams must submit a detailed abstract of their idea along with an Abstract (PDF) by January 05, 2026.
Submissions must follow the provided template.
Selected teams will be invited for the on-site hackathon at KJSSE, Mumbai.
Round 2: On-Site Hackathon (Offline at KJSSE, Mumbai)
Shortlisted teams must report to the venue on February 05, 2026.
Teams must build their project within the 24-hour hackathon duration (February 05-06, 2025).
Pre-existing projects are not allowed.
Food and snacks during the hackathon will be provided by the organizers.
A nominal fee of ₹200 per team is required after selection for Round 2.
Please note that the fee is applicable for the team who are shortlisted for Round 2.

The decision of the organizing team will be final.
Teams cannot be changed or shuffled after registration.
AI/ML and emerging technologies are welcomed for implementation.
The event will conclude with a networking attended by judges, sponsors, and speakers.
