FutureX is a national-level innovation hackathon designed to challenge participants to envision life in the year 2040 through creativity, innovation, and strategic thinking. Participants will take on the role of futurists, innovators, and product visionaries to design practical, technology-driven solutions that address future challenges and improve everyday life.
Objective:
Encourage futuristic thinking and innovation.
Develop creative problem-solving skills for real-world challenges.
Explore the role of emerging technologies in shaping the future.
Enhance strategic thinking, product ideation, and presentation skills.
Promote sustainable and human-centric innovation.
Eligibility:
Open to all undergraduate students.
Individual participation only.
No technical or coding background is required.
Competition Format:
Single-round innovation hackathon.
Participants will receive a future-focused problem statement at the start of the competition.
Problem statements may cover areas such as:
Schools & Education in 2040
Healthcare in 2040
Smart Cities of the Future
Shopping & Retail in 2040
Workplaces & Offices in 2040
Transportation & Mobility
Sustainable Living Solutions
AI-Powered Everyday Experiences
Participants will have 24 hours to analyze the problem statement and develop an innovative solution for the year 2040.
Detailed problem statements and submission guidelines will be shared on the day of the competition.

Submission Details:
Submission format: PPT or PDF (6–10 slides recommended).
Participants must clearly present:
Problem understanding
Future vision and assumptions
Proposed solution
Technologies involved
Product concept or service model
User journey or workflow
Expected impact and feasibility
Optional prototype, mockup, storyboard, or wireframe may be included.
Final submission guidelines will be shared on the day of the competition.
Rules & Guidelines:
Individual participation only.
Original work is mandatory; plagiarism will result in disqualification.
AI tools are permitted; however, solutions must reflect the participant's own creativity, analysis, and strategic thinking.
Late submissions will not be accepted.
Participants must ensure clarity, practicality, and proper justification of their future vision and proposed solution.
The decision of the organizing team will be final and binding.
