Date: 18 August 2026Venue: NMG Technologies, GurugramFormat: Solo or Team of up to 3 The next wave of AI will not be built for chatbots. It will be built for factories. Forge 6 is an Industrial AI Hackathon organized by NMG Labs in association with Maruti Suzuki, bringing together students, engineers, AI builders, and innovators to solve real manufacturing challenges using Artificial Intelligence. Manufacturing, automotive, supply chain, quality control, procurement, logistics, and industrial operations are undergoing one of the biggest technology transformations in decades. Organizations are actively searching for AI systems that can reduce defects, improve quality, optimize inventory, automate compliance, predict disruptions, and increase productivity on the shopfloor. This is your opportunity to build those systems. Participants will develop working AI prototypes inspired by high-impact industrial use cases prioritized by the manufacturing sector. The best solutions will demonstrate how AI can create measurable business value across automotive and industrial operations. Challenge Tracks: Choose from multiple industrial AI problem statements, including: AI-powered Defect Detection & Quality Inspection Quality Documentation Co-Pilots Cost Estimation & Localization Intelligence Workplace Safety & Vision Analytics Inventory & Supply Chain Optimization Supplier Risk Prediction Sustainability & Carbon Intelligence Agentic AI for Manufacturing Operations Technology Areas: Computer Vision Machine Learning Generative AI Agentic AI Systems Predictive Analytics Industrial Automation RAG & Knowledge Systems Supply Chain Intelligence Why Forge 6? Build AI solutions inspired by real manufacturing challenges Gain exposure to industrial and automotive workflows Learn how AI is transforming factory operations Showcase your work to industry leaders and engineering professionals Build a portfolio project with real-world business relevance Earn recognition, prizes, and career opportunities through NMG Labs Judging Criteria: Working Prototype Industrial Impact AI & Technical Excellence Real-World Applicability Production Readiness Presentation & Storytelling Eligibility: Open to students and recent graduates from Engineering, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Mechanical, Production, Manufacturing, Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering, and related disciplines. Team Size: Individual Participation Teams of up to 3 Members Theme: Participants will receive challenge statements and datasets on sprint day and will have approximately 6–7 hours to build and demonstrate their solution. The future of manufacturing will be powered by AI. Forge 6 is where builders take the first step toward creating it.
