About this hackathon

Codeshastra XII is one of India’s major 24-hour hackathons that brings together students and innovators to solve real-world challenges through technology. This year’s theme is inspired by the Marvel Cinematic Universe, encouraging participants to combine their creativity, technical skills, and teamwork to develop impactful solutions. Just like superheroes assemble to solve complex problems, participants will collaborate to build innovative and practical technological solutions. Resume Shortlisting Round (Round 0) Resumes of all the team members will be reviewed during the initial screening phase. Teams will be shortlisted based on the skills, technical expertise, and previous projects mentioned in the resume. The top 40 teams will be selected through this screening process and will move forward to the on-site hackathon round. All resume submissions must be in PDF format. Details: Registration: Registrations are open until 31st March 2026. Interested participants must complete the online registration process and form their teams before the deadline. Mode of Participation: Offline Format The hackathon will take place at the designated college venue. All shortlisted teams must be physically present for the event. Judging Process: The evaluation will take place over three stages: Preliminary Round (Round 0): Screening based on resume submissions. Development Round (Round 1): On-site assessment of project progress and implementation. Final Round (Round 2): Teams present their solutions and winners are determined. Evaluation Criteria: Teams will be evaluated based on the following factors: Technical Implementation and Complexity: The depth of execution, scalability, and efficiency of the solution. Innovation and Originality: The uniqueness and creativity of the approach. Relevance to the Problem Statement: How well the solution addresses the given challenge. Presentation and Impact: The clarity, structure, and effectiveness of the final pitch. Domains: Participants can work on problem statements from the following domains: Web Development App Development Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning Blockchain Decision Making: Judges will have full discretion over the selection process. All decisions made by the judging panel will be final. The organizing committee reserves the right to modify rules and make final decisions if required. Code of Conduct: Participants must uphold professionalism and mutual respect throughout the event. Any misconduct will lead to immediate disqualification. Confidentiality Obligations: Participants must maintain confidentiality regarding problem statements and proprietary information shared during the event. Breaching this requirement will result in disqualification. Things to be Brought: Participants must ensure that they bring the following items for the hackathon: Personal laptop with the required development environment and software installed. Laptop charger and necessary accessories. Valid college ID card or any government-issued identification. Extension boards or multi-plugs if required. Any hardware components or devices required for the project implementation. Personal essentials required for a 24-hour hackathon. Participants are responsible for the safety and security of their personal belongings and equipment during the event. Disclaimer: The organizers will not be responsible for any technical issues faced by participants. Teams must ensure that their technical setup is ready before the event. Each participant can be a part of only one team at a time.
