About the Opportunity The Smart India Hackathon (SIH) 2026 – Internal Hackathon is an innovation-driven opportunity for students to identify real-world challenges, develop technology-based solutions, and showcase their problem-solving and entrepreneurial skills. Organized as part of the institute’s internal selection process for Smart India Hackathon 2026, the hackathon aims to encourage students to move beyond conventional classroom learning and work on practical problems with innovative, scalable, and impactful solutions. Participants will get an opportunity to: Explore and select relevant SIH 2026 Problem Statements. Form multidisciplinary teams and collaborate to develop innovative solutions. Understand real-world problem requirements and convert ideas into working solution concepts. Apply technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Web & Mobile Development, IoT, Data Science, Cloud Computing, Cybersecurity, Blockchain, and other emerging technologies. Develop prototypes and solution approaches under a defined time frame. Receive guidance, mentoring, and feedback during the internal hackathon. Showcase their ideas and solutions before the evaluation panel. Compete for selection as the institute’s representative team(s) for the Smart India Hackathon 2026. Who Can Participate? The opportunity is open to eligible students of the institute who are interested in innovation, technology, entrepreneurship, problem-solving, and hackathons.
