Sovereign AI Codefest

Together with NVIDIA and Bitdeer AI, the OpenACC organization, will host an online Sovereign AI Codefest starting July 3, 2026 and concluding July 31, 2026. The Sovereign AI Hackathon is an initiative to accelerate the development and adoption of sovereign AI solutions. Designed as a recurring program, it aims to foster real-world applications built on the NVIDIA AI stack while promoting cross-regional collaboration through Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, Singapore, and Malaysia. The hackathon will focus on developing and fine-tuning sovereign AI models and applications tailored to local needs, applying NVIDIA’s best practices and guidance such as the Sovereign AI model playbook (covering areas on data curation, model training, and model evaluation). Participating teams will receive GPU access, hands-on mentorship from NVIDIA’s expert network, and end-to-end support, enabling them to build impactful, scalable AI solutions grounded in regional data sovereignty and innovation.Benefits of P
