Elvion is a premier software-innovation hackathon organized by TECH, Department of Computer Engineering, RMD Sinhgad Technical Institute, Pune. This high-intensity hackathon is a platform for passionate student innovators to ideate, build, and present impactful solutions addressing real-world problems. We invite all developers and enthusiasts to showcase their technological prowess, teamwork and passion! Experienced or just starting, we encourage all to participate. We also recommend students to align their solutions with the UN's SDGs and India's vision of Viksit Bharat - 2027. Though it is not strictly mandatory. ️Event Details: Date: 11th February 2026 Duration: 9 Hours Mode: Round 1: Online (Idea Evaluation via PPT) Round 2: Offline (In-person) Finale at RMDSTIC, Pune Eligibility & Team Rules: Open to students from any recognized college in India Team Size: 2–5 members Inter-college teams allowed as well as inter-specialization No solo participation Themes (Open Innovation): Participants may choose from the following suggested domains or propose their own innovative ideas within other domains (Like AI & Automation, Web3 & Blockchain, Cybersecurity, Data Science) FinTech HealthTech & Wellness EdTech & Learning Open Innovation Hackathon Structure: Round 1 – Idea Evaluation (Online) PPT submission (Video link can be included if available). This will conducted on Unstop. Participating Teams will have to present a problem statement and solution from one of the domains given above. They are free to choose any problem statement that falls within the described domain. The problem may fall into multiple domains. A prototype (Design or deployed, and anywhere in-between) must be provided. Real-world impact (20%) Technical feasibility and depth (35%) Innovation & uniqueness (20%) Market relevance (15%)Evaluation based on*: Round 2 – Finale (Offline): Shortlisted teams compete at RMDSTIC, Pune. This is an implementation round, the ideas given at first round 1 need to be taken forward and presented to our judges. While you can make changes to your idea it is encouraged to not deviate much. Desk-based evaluation. Working prototype strongly encouraged. Minimum 2 rounds of evaluations will be conducted We may provide sponsored prize tracks or technologies to be integrated within your solutons. Food (Initial refreshments + Lunch) and Wi-fi is going to be provided, plus other facilities / support as required by the participants. Further details will be shared only to shortlisted teams after first round evaluation. Prizes & Recognition: Cash prizes for 1st, 2nd & 3rd place alongside swags, goodies and any extras provided by our sponsors. Estimated prize pool: ₹30,000 (Finalized on event day) Trophies for winners as well as certificates for them and any special mentions Certificates for participants of first round and additional certificates for all finalists Rules & Guidelines: All coding must be done during the hackathon only No pre-built or previously developed projects allowed Open-source tools and APIs are allowed  Limited AI usage permitted (Participants must understand and explain their solution) Misconduct or plagiarism will lead to disqualification The judges’ decision will be final All updates will be communicated via Unstop & Email. If you face any issues during payment, or submissions or so on please contact us and we will arrange something for you.
