FiniX – Case Study Competition
FiniX is a Case Study competition in the field of Finance, designed to spark fresh ideas and innovative solutions for the future of the financial ecosystem. The event unfolds in two stages—an Online Preliminary Round followed by an Offline Final Round. It challenges participants to showcase their creativity, analytical skills, and practical thinking to solve real-world financial problems and create impactful solutions.
FiniX: Stages and Timeline
Round 1 – Online Quiz
The online round will be a quiz format where participants are tested on the basis of their awareness of financial technology trends
Participants will have a limited time to answer each question
Scores will be based on both accuracy and time taken
Only the team leader will be allowed to attempt the quiz
The top performers in this round will qualify for the offline finale at the IIITN campus

End Date: 2 Oct 2025, 10:00 PM IST
Round 2 – Offline Round at IIITN Campus
The offline round is a 4–6-hour competition held at the IIITN campus
Teams will be given a real-world financial case study problem
Supporting datasets, reports, and resources will be provided for analysis
Participants must apply financial knowledge, analytical reasoning, and creativity to design practical solutions
Final solutions will be presented before a panel of judges at the IIITN campus
The competition will begin at a specified time and run continuously for 4–6 hours
All solutions must be completed and submitted within the given time frame

End Date: 10 Oct 2025, 6:00 PM IST
Eligibility Criteria:
The event is open to all college students
Cross-branch/year/institution participation is allowed
Rules and Guidelines:
The organizers of this event reserve the right to refuse the eligibility of prizes in any situation if malpractice arises
The team names should be sensible, appropriate, and non-offensive. The organizers reserve the right to disqualify any team that does not adhere to these guidelines
Do refrain from using any prohibited website
Use of any type of AI may result in disqualification
Team size of a maximum of 2–4 is allowed
Note: All the participants are required to bring their own laptop/setup for the final round.
