Weekend hackathons, on their own page

Most people can't take a week off to hack. There's now a page for the ones that fit around a job or a course: short-format events, three days or less end to end, that actually run across a Saturday or Sunday. Friday night to Sunday demo, or a single Saturday jam — build it, ship it, back at your desk on Monday.

The list is worked out from each event's real start and end dates, so a three-day event running Tuesday to Thursday doesn't sneak in. Events with no end date stay out rather than being guessed at. It refreshes as new hackathons appear and sits alongside the other curated lists on Discover.
