About this hackathon
Zero Day Apocalypse:
How Far Can You Push an AI?
What happens when an AI is told not to do something?
Your job is to make it do exactly that.
Welcome to Zero Day Apocalypse, a 4-hour AI challenge where your biggest weapon isn't your code. It's your ability to talk to an AI in ways it wasn't expecting.
We've built an entire platform for the event, filled with multiple levels, challenges, hidden secrets, and surprises. You'll start somewhere simple. As you progress, new challenges will unlock, the difficulty will increase, and the rules of the game will become increasingly unpredictable.
Your objective is simple:
Prompt the LLM in a way that makes it behave differently from what it was instructed to do.
Sounds easy?
Maybe the first level will be.
But every level gets harder.
You'll need to experiment, think creatively, understand how the model responds to instructions, and discover what makes it change its behaviour. There won't be a predefined path to victory. The better you understand the AI and the more creative you are with your prompts, the further you can go.
The entire challenge is hosted on our dedicated platform, and everything you need to participate will be provided. You can use whatever resources, tools, and knowledge you want.
And there is no human sitting behind the curtain deciding whether you succeeded.
Every attempt is evaluated automatically.
Your score and completion time will determine your position on the leaderboard. The people who manage to push the furthest, score the most, and do it fastest will rise to the top.
You don't need to be an AI expert to participate. You don't need deep technical knowledge or years of experience.
You just need curiosity, creativity, and the willingness to keep asking:
"What if I try this?"
