Winter of Code 2026

Winter of Code 2026 is an open-source contribution program designed to help students and developers get started with real-world software development and open-source collaboration. Participants will have the opportunity to explore open-source projects, contribute code, fix issues, improve documentation, and collaborate with project maintainers and fellow developers. The program focuses on learning by doing, encouraging participants to build practical development skills, understand real-world Git and GitHub workflows, and make meaningful contributions to the open-source community. Whether you are new to open source or already have development experience, Winter of Code 2026 provides an opportunity to learn, contribute, and grow as a developer.
