SLAB (Self-Learning Agent Browser) Is Coming To Maharaja Agrasen Institute Of Technology! Date: 12 September 2026 Venue: Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Technology, Sector 22, Rohini, Delhi – 110086 Nearest Metro Station: Rithala Google Maps: Google Maps MAIT, in collaboration with webcmd, is hosting a hands-on, offline hackathon focused on building the next generation of AI Browser Agents. Participants will build intelligent agents capable of interacting with real websites to perform useful workflows such as researching information, monitoring changes, testing browser flows, comparing products, completing repetitive online tasks, and automating multi-step processes. Whether you already have an idea or want to explore browser agents for the first time, SLAB is designed to help you go from concept to working prototype in a single day. No prior experience with browser automation or webcmd is required. The event will begin with a practical Browser Agents 101 walkthrough to help participants understand the fundamentals and start building quickly. Theme: Browser Agents The challenge is simple: Build an AI agent that solves a meaningful real-world browser workflow. Your project could, for example: Research and aggregate information across multiple websites Monitor websites for updates or changes Test browser-based workflows Compare products, services, or information online Automate repetitive browser tasks Complete useful multi-step workflows across websites Solve any browser-based problem that would otherwise require significant manual effort If there is a browser task you wish you did not have to perform manually, this is your opportunity to automate it. Build With Webcmd: webcmd is self-learning browser infrastructure designed for AI agents. It enables agents to explore unfamiliar websites, preserve what they learn, and convert stable workflows into reliable reusable commands with structured output. Explore once. Learn the workflow. Use Your Preferred Tech Stack: There are no restrictions on the technology stack you use. Participants may use tools and frameworks including, but not limited to: Codex Claude Code OpenClaw Playwright Browser Use Browser MCPs Local or hosted AI models APIs, frameworks, and developer tools of their choice Use whatever helps you build the most effective and reliable browser agent. Judging Criteria: Projects will be evaluated out of 100 points based on: Live Reliability: 30 points Real-World Usefulness: 25 points Technical Depth & Recovery: 20 points Creativity: 15 points Demo & Storytelling: 10 points A strong project should not only demonstrate an interesting idea but also work reliably on real browser workflows. Prizes & Perks: Participants will have the opportunity to compete for: ₹5,000 Campus Winner Prize ₹20,000 National Prize for the best project across all participating campuses Refreshments during the event Exclusive goodies and swag Certificates for all participants Important Rules: Solo Participation: SLAB @ MAIT is a solo hackathon. Each participant must independently build and present their project. Real Demonstrations Only: Your project must demonstrate an actual working execution. The final submission must either: Run live during the demo, or Include a screen recording captured from a real execution of the project Concept-only presentations or simulated demonstrations will not qualify as valid demos. Build Responsibly: Participants must use their own accounts while interacting with online services and must respect the terms, policies, and usage restrictions of the platforms they access.
