Where to Build & Launch
Timeline & Flow
Open Registration & Early Build (Immediate): Anyone can register at any time. Start brainstorming, designing, or coding right now. You can launch your game as early as you want!
The Arena: Weekend DAU Measurement Window (Oct 23, 00:00 IST – Oct 25, 23:59 IST): The leaderboard is live and tracking Daily Active Players across Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. You can publish or push updates anytime during this window as well.
Results & Payout: Oct 26, 2026: Final leaderboard audit and winner announcement.
How the Winner is Decided (The Rules)
Primary Metric — Weekend Average DAU: The game with the highest Average Daily Active Users (Avg DAU) across Oct 23, 24, and 25 wins 1st place.
The 10 DAU Daily Qualifying Rule (Mandatory Cutoff): To qualify for ranking on the prize leaderboard, your game must hit at least 10 DAU (Daily Active Players) on EVERY day of the weekend (Oct 23, Oct 24, and Oct 25).
Flexible Submissions: You can start early or deploy over the weekend. As long as your active players hit the 10 DAU daily threshold and your average ranks at the top, you win.
Fair Play & Anti-Bot Protection: Real student engagement is tracked on the Tryb platform. Synthetic bot traffic, spam clicks, or headless emulation will lead to immediate disqualification. Management reserves the right to disqualify any such participant(s).
Eligibility & Participation Terms
Solo Submissions: Registration and official submissions are Individual (Solo).
Collaborations: You are free to brainstorm, design, or involve friends/collaborators behind the scenes however you deem necessary. However, all prizes, certificates, PPIs, and official recognition will be awarded strictly to the individual who submits the game on the Tryb App.
Who Can Join: College students (any branch, year, or degree) and freshers pan-India.
Pro-Tips to Dominate the Weekend Leaderboard
Quick & Snackable: 30-second hyper-casual gameplay loops (reaction, flappy mechanics, runners, quirky physics) drive daily recurring players much faster than heavy games.
Campus Virality: Share your game's Tryb link with your college batches, hostel wings, and WhatsApp/Discord groups to guarantee you comfortably beat the 10 daily players mark!
