The Code Voyage

Overview: CODE VOYAGE is a pirate-themed technical challenge testing logic, pseudocode, technical knowledge, and strategy across two rounds. Teams navigate a grid-based problem and battle through a high-stakes technical bidding round, where every decision shapes their final score. Navigate the Code. Master the Challenge. Claim the Voyage. Details: Date: 18th October 2026 Time: 10:30 AM Venue: Guru Tegh Bahadur Institute of Technology No. of Rounds: 2 Pre-requisites: 1 working laptop or phone per team. Eligibility: Open to all students. Inter-college participants allowed. Team Size: 2–4 members per team. Event Flow: Round 1: Grid Navigation Teams solve a grid-based logical challenge by determining the correct path or sequence of instructions. Solutions must be submitted in pseudocode. Round 2: Pirate Bidding Battle Teams receive 10 coins (50 points each) and bid for technical questions. The highest bidder gets 60 seconds to answer. Correct answers earn 2× the bid, while incorrect answers lose the bid. Bids must be placed in multiples of 50 points and cannot exceed the team’s available balance. Once placed, a bid cannot be withdrawn. Rules & Regulations: Initial round must be solved using pseudocode; executable code is not required. Only one device per team is permitted in Round 1. Use of AI is not permitted during either round. Follow team size (2-4 members).
