SGU_HackX - 1.0

SGU HACKX 1.0 is a 36-hour national-level hackathon organized by the School of Computer Applications, SDGI Global University, in collaboration with TechSpireX Student Club. The hackathon is designed to bring together students, developers, innovators, and problem-solvers to create technology-driven solutions for real-world problems. Participants will work in teams, develop their ideas, and present their solutions to an evaluation panel. After registration, teams will receive the official PPT format/template to prepare their project presentation. Round 2 – Project Evaluation & Discussion Shortlisted teams will be invited for an offline project evaluation round. Teams will discuss their project with the evaluation panel and answer questions related to their problem statement, proposed solution, technology stack, implementation, features, and overall approach. Based on this evaluation, teams will be selected for the Grand Finale. Round 3 – Grand Finale | 36-Hour Offline Hackathon Selected teams will be invited to the SDGI Global University campus for the final 36-hour hackathon. Date: 23–24 October 2026Mode: OfflineVenue: SDGI Global University, Ghaziabad⏱️ Duration: 36 Hours During the Grand Finale, teams will build, test, improve, and present their working solutions. Final Round Registration Fee There is no fee for the initial registration. Teams selected for the Grand Finale will be required to pay a ₹100 registration fee per team member. For example, if a team has 4 members, the total final-round fee will be ₹400 per team. The fee will be applicable only after a team is selected for the Grand Finale. Important Participants must register as a team according to the specified team-size requirements. Only shortlisted teams will proceed to the next evaluation stage. Only selected teams will participate in the 36-hour Grand Finale. The Grand Finale will be conducted offline at SDGI Global University. Participants should carry the required equipment, including their laptops, for the final hackathon. Further instructions regarding the final round will be shared with selected teams.
