About this hackathon
Rules:
Robot Specifications: The robot must meet the prescribed dimensions, weight, and power requirements, with a focus on reliable drive systems, robust construction, and effective control.
Race Regulations: Robots compete on a designated track featuring turns, obstacles, ramps, and other challenges. Teams must complete the course within the stipulated time while staying within the track boundaries.
Safety Compliance: All robots must pass a mandatory safety inspection. Components must be securely mounted, batteries properly protected, and the robot must have a safe and reliable power-control mechanism.
Format:
Team Composition: Each team can have a maximum of six participants and must register through the official website.
Competition Stages: Teams first compete in qualifying rounds, where they race against the clock or other participants. Top-performing teams advance to subsequent rounds, leading to the final race.
Judging Criteria: Rankings are determined primarily by completion time, with penalties added for violations such as missing checkpoints, leaving the track, or failing to clear designated obstacles. In case of a tie, additional factors such as penalty count and a tie-breaker race may be used.
