Most hackathons end with a demo. RevHack ends with real users. RevHack is a free, 36-hour online hackathon for students across India. You have 36 hours to build, then about a week to put it in front of real people and get your first users or sales. Build anything that can earn: a website for your side business, an app people love, a browser extension folks have always wished existed, or software that businesses will pay for. Register on EYFI: https://revhack.eyfichallenge.com/registerRegistration is completed on the RevHack page. Joining on Unstop alone doesn’t count. Registrations close 16 Oct, 11:59 PM IST. Key dates (all IST) 16 Oct, 11:59 PM: registrations close 17 Oct, 10:00 AM to 18 Oct, 10:00 PM: The Build (36 hours), with mentor check-ins and feedback. In the last 2 hours, other teams try out what you’ve built, so you get real feedback. 18 to 26 Oct: The Traction Run. Get users, land your first customers, and submit your traction details by 26 Oct. 31 Oct: Results day Prizes worth ₹13.5K in cash and $900 in credits Podium awards: ₹7,500 for the winner and ₹3,500 for the runner-up. BuildInPublic Award: ₹2,500 for the most compelling build-in-public journey. Render Workflows credits: $500, $300 and $100 for the top three teams. If they use Render Workflows in their project. Free 1-year .xyz domains for the top 25 teams. Venture grants: products that gain real momentum and traction can apply for grants from a pool of up to ₹5,00,000.
