About the Game Jam:
Resolve'26 is a National-Level 48-Hour Game Jam organized by the Developer Network Space (DNS), Department of Computer Science and Engineering, SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Vadapalani Campus.
Whether you're passionate about game development, programming, design, storytelling, art, music, or innovation, Resolve'26 is your opportunity to transform ideas into playable experiences.
Participants will work in teams to conceptualize, design, build, and present an original game based on a surprise theme announced at the beginning of the event. Throughout the competition, industry mentors and experienced developers will guide participants to help refine their ideas and overcome technical challenges.

Event Format:
Round 1 – Online Idea Screening
Team registration.
Game concept submission.
Initial evaluation.
Selected teams will qualify for the offline finale.
Round 2 – Offline 48-Hour Game Jam
Qualified teams will gather at SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Vadapalani Campus, to build a complete game within the allotted time.
Participants will receive:
Mentorship sessions.
Technical support.
Evaluation by industry experts.
Final presentation and demo.
Eligibility:
Open to students from colleges and universities across India.
Students from all engineering and non-engineering disciplines are eligible.
Passion for game development is the only prerequisite.
Team Size:
Exactly 3 members per team.

Rules:
Every submission must be original.
Teams must consist of exactly 3 members.
Assets created before the event must be disclosed.
AI tools may be used unless prohibited by specific challenge rules.
Plagiarism or copyright violations will result in immediate disqualification.
The decision of the organizing committee and judges shall be final and binding.
