About this hackathon

🚀 B.E.L.L.E × Qoder AI Hackathon Full-Day Hackathon · San Francisco Build. Experiment. Ship. Join B.E.L.L.E Community × Qoder for a full-day, in-person AI hackathon in San Francisco, bringing together developers, founders, designers, and AI builders to explore the next generation of AI-native software development and agentic engineering. AI is moving beyond simply helping us write code. Today’s AI agents can take on increasingly complex development tasks — from understanding requirements and planning solutions to building, testing, and iterating on software. At this hackathon, we invite you to put that new way of building into practice. Use Qoder to turn an idea into something real — in one day. 💰 Cash prizes for winning teams — details to be announced🎁 Additional prizes & perks☕🍕 Coffee & lunch provided🤝 Meet fellow AI builders, founders & developers🎤 Demo your project to judges and the community 💫 About Qoder From Agentic Coding to Agentic Engineering Qoder is an AI-native development platform designed for a new generation of software development where AI moves beyond code assistance toward autonomous execution. Instead of simply generating snippets of code, Qoder enables developers to collaborate with AI agents across the development lifecycle — understanding codebases, planning tasks, implementing features, testing solutions, and working through longer, more complex engineering workflows. Through capabilities such as Agent Mode and Quest, builders can delegate increasingly sophisticated development tasks while staying focused on ideas, product decisions, and outcomes. At this hackathon, you'll get hands-on experience exploring what happens when AI becomes more than a coding assistant — and starts becoming part of the engineering team. 🔥 What Will You Build? The challenge is intentionally open-ended: Build something useful, creative, or ambitious using Qoder. Your project could be: 🤖 An autonomous AI agent🛠️ An AI-powered developer tool📊 A productivity or workflow application🎨 A creative AI experience🏢 An enterprise AI solution🌎 A product addressing a real-world problem🚀 Or something we haven't imagined yet We encourage teams to experiment with ambitious ideas and use AI-native development workflows to move from idea → prototype → working product within the hackathon. 🏆 Prizes Winning teams will receive cash prizes, with additional prizes and opportunities to be announced. 1st place prize - $20002nd place prize - $15003rd place prize - $1000 Projects will be evaluated based on factors such as: ✨ Innovation — Is the idea original or differentiated?🧠 Use of AI & Qoder — How effectively does the team leverage AI-native development?🛠️ Technical Execution — Does the product actually work?🌎 Real-World Impact — Does it solve a meaningful problem?🎤 Demo & Storytelling — Can the team clearly communicate what they built and why it matters? Final judging criteria may be updated before the hackathon. 👥 Who Should Join? This hackathon is designed for: AI engineers & developersSoftware engineersStartup foundersProduct buildersDesignersStudents & researchersAI enthusiastsAnyone excited about building with AI You don't need to arrive with a fully formed startup idea. Come with curiosity, find teammates, and build. Team formation and networking opportunities will be available at the event. 🗓️ Tentative Schedule Morning ☕ Registration & Coffee🎤 Welcome + Opening Remarks🧠 Qoder Introduction & Technical Workshop🤝 Team Formation🚀 Hacking Begins Midday 🍕 Lunch💻 Building & Mentorship🧠 Technical Support Afternoon ⚡ Final Build Sprint📤 Project Submission Deadline🎤 Final Demos & Judging🏆 Awards & Closing Detailed timing will be announced closer to the event. 💡 What to Bring Please bring: 💻 Your laptop + charger💡 Your ideas🤝 A collaborative mindset🚀 Your ambition to build something great Additional technical resources and hackathon instructions will be shared with registered participants before the event. 🌉 Build With San Francisco's AI Community Some of the most exciting changes in software development are happening right now.
