About this hackathon
Together with NVIDIA and the OpenACC organization, Pittsburgh Supercomputing Center (PSC) and National Center for Supercomputing Applications (NCSA) will host a virtual “Bring Your Own Code” Open Hackathon starting September 8 and concluding September 17. Researchers currently employing or are interested in enabling GPUs for HPC, AI/ML or Quantum Computing simulations are encouraged to apply. Open Hackathons are multi-day hands-on coding events that help computational scientists and researchers port, accelerate and optimize their own real-world applications on data center architectures. Participants are paired with dedicated expert mentors and work together to identify computational bottlenecks, optimize application workloads, and realize performance gains and speedups using a variety of programming models, libraries, and tools. Priority acceptance will be given to active and potential users of PSC and NCSA resources. Teams working on AL/ML applications, Quantum computing simulation ap
